1. Who we are

This policy describes how [legal company name, e.g. "SC Boutique Romantic SRL"], registered office at [registered office address], tax ID [CUI/CIF], registered with the Trade Registry under number [J.../…/…] (referred to as "Boutique Romantic Focșani", "we"), operator of the accommodation unit at Strada Rarău 6, 620172 Focșani, Romania, processes the personal data of visitors to the boutiqueromantic.ro website and of people who request a booking.

2. What data we collect

Through the booking form on the site we may collect: first and last name, phone number, email address (optional), the requested check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, and any additional information voluntarily included in the message.

If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we collect the phone number and the conversation content necessary to manage the booking.

3. Purpose of processing

Data is used exclusively for: checking availability, confirming and managing the booking, communicating with you before and after your stay, and, where applicable, fulfilling legal obligations regarding guest records.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, legal obligations applicable to accommodation providers (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. Retention period

Data related to a booking request that was not completed is kept for a maximum of [e.g. 12 months]. Data related to an actual stay is kept for the period required by applicable tax and tourism record-keeping legislation, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Recipients

Data is not sold or used for marketing purposes without separate consent. It may be shared, only to the extent necessary, with: email/telephony service providers used for communication and, where required by law, competent public authorities (e.g. guest records).

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, and object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

8. Cookies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies for it to function and, only with your consent given in the banner shown on your first visit, traffic analytics cookies (e.g. [GA4 / Plausible / Matomo – to be completed once the tool is connected]).
